Mission San Luis Rey is 18th California Mission. It is founded in 1798 by Padre Fermin Francisco de Lasuen and located in Oceanside, CA. Because of size it's also known as king of California Missions.

Today it is modern California retreat center and California cemetery - one of the oldest in California that is still in operation.

Ocanside Mission organize verious educational evenys as well as retreats, spiritual direction and museum tours called Behind the scene. Museum is open Monday to Friday from 9.30AM - 5am. Over the weekend from 10AM till 5PM.
